England have won the last seven Women's Six Nations titles and are targeting a fifth consecutive Grand Slam, so they are favourites once again for this year's tournament.

The Red Roses won last year's World Cup on home soil but there's a freshness to John Mitchell's side, including a new captain as Megan Jones stands in for pregnant skipper Zoe Stratford.

England only just pipped France to last year's Women's Six Nations title after a dramatic 43-42 win in the last match and the top two sides in European rugby will meet on the final matchday again on May 17.

A team achieves a Grand Slam if they beat all the others in the competition during a single campaign, a feat which has been achieved 25 times in the history of the Home/Five/Six Nations.

Contested between the Home Nations of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, the Triple Crown is secured by a team if they beat the three other teams in the same tournament. England have won the Triple Crown 24 times.

The Wooden Spoon is an accolade you don't want as it means you finished last in the table, which has happened to Wales in the last two Women's Six Nations.
